Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal as set out below. Businesses have no statutory right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
When you withdraw, we block the calendar; the recipient link then no longer works.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
AdventJoy supplies digital content (the activated calendar with recipient link) and provides digital services (storage and delivery until the end of the term). At checkout you can request that we begin immediately, that is before the withdrawal period expires. The following applies:
- Digital content: The right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performance after you have (a) expressly consented to us beginning performance before the end of the withdrawal period, (b) confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal through your consent once performance has begun, and (c) we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract recording your consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium (Section 356 (5) BGB). You receive this confirmation with the order confirmation email.
- Services: The right of withdrawal expires once we have fully performed the service, provided we only began performance after you gave your express consent and at the same time confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract (Section 356 (4) BGB). If you withdraw before then, the rule on a proportionate amount above applies.
Without your consent, we begin performance only after the withdrawal period has expired; checkout currently does not offer an order without this consent.
Independently of this, we refund the price of a private calendar as a goodwill gesture if you ask us within 14 days of purchase and the recipient link has never been opened (section 9 of the terms).
